ÜBER PSSST UPLOAD!!!

Where do I start with this ey!?
OK!
So back in the summer I was asked (along with
a handful of other brilliant creative individuals!)
to take part in a group show in Frankfurt's
Museum for Modern Art which made my year!

The show was curated by the FANTASTIC!!
Jakob Hoffmann and the MMK and was to be
targeted towards children and the theme of the
work should be based around the idea of secrets.
(hence the title of the exhibition named 'PSSST')

SO my interpretation came in the form of this...

"Not only is ‘pssst’ the sound of someone attracting
your attention to tell you a secret, ‘pssst’ is the sound
a can of spray-paint makes.

Graffiti is a very secret act, for the main reason that
you don’t want to get caught!

People who paint graffiti usually paint a word, name
or logo which represnts themselves.

With a bold and colourful approach Matthew Bromley
explores this idea by creating five fictional characters
who each paint or paste a logo which represents their
personal feature or traits."

Here is the PSSST CREW...

So that's the whole PSSST CREW and as you can see
a wall to indicate what each member paints! (with me?) haha

Now the following photographs are from Frankfurt and the
making of the work :)...

So here is the Kinder Museum, this was a totally
seperate venue and its where the workshops where
held with the artists.
I had Bozo pasted up there for the kids to find.
(the 'Blutsauger' or 'blood sucker' in english logo
was already there as there is a exhibition on about
blood sucking parasites. fun :)

Back at the MMK now, the activity sheets all stacked up
waiting for the little kinders! (note: the kids had to link
the right character to their graffiti and the sheets where
in greyscale to make it more challenging.)

There you are goober!
